Justina M. Jacob, OD, a New Jersey native, completed her graduate degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Following optometry school, she completed a residency in ocular disease at the VA Hospital in East Orange, NJ, which is an affiliate of the SUNY College of Optometry in NYC.
Her extensive training in ocular disease has given her the skills to diagnose a wide range of diseases including dry eyes, uveitis, glaucoma, and several corneal and retinal disorders. Dr. Jacob has a passion for managing ocular health which is why she joined The Eye Institute of West Florida.
Now a Tampa resident, Dr. Jacob enjoys going to different beaches and traveling the world with her husband. She has a passion for volunteering and has done medical mission trips to Bolivia and Haiti.
