James A. Roberts, M.D. has joined the eye care team at The Eye Institute of West Florida. As an experienced ophthalmologist, Dr. James Roberts, will be providing high-quality eye care and vision services for patients at our Largo, Clearwater, and Westchase (Tampa) locations.
Dr. Roberts is credentials with the American Board of Ophthalmology and looks forward to bringing his experience to current and future patients at The Eye Institute of West Florida. Dr. Roberts grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida and went to the University of Florida to receive his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and obtained his doctorate of medicine from East Tennessee State University in 1984.
After his internship and Ophthalmology residency in Tennessee, Dr. Roberts moved back to Pinellas County where he spent 31 years practicing Ophthalmology for a large primary and specialty care medical group.
